I found out too late last season that the Amex is no where near Brighton station. I believe it's Falmer's that's right next door but I'm wondering if this will run normally or if Palace fans need to go to Brighton for the police escort? I can't really see how they can stop Palace fans going to Falmer's but you never know with the way their Police work. Thinking of leaving East Croydon around 5ish so I can't see there being any Brighton at the stadium by 6:15 when I arrive. Only issue is I assume no away pubs anywhere near the ground? So I'm assuming it's a 2 hour wait in the away section drinking from a plastic cup. Anyone fancy a beer if you're getting there early?

It is indeed Falmer station. I wish I were going - it might be better to go via Lewes (given the chances of the Brighton plod trying to kettle you).

There will be queues to get on trains to Falmer from Brighton by 6.15, l was going to suggest getting a bus and having a couple in the North lanes but they are doing road work on the way out to the ground. It really is a crap place to get
