If you look at his overall record, no other manager has a better record, not even Robson or Ramsey

Dunno how I missed this.

He's got a better overall record than Ramsey. Ramsey who won a world cup. What an insane thing to come out with.

It could be a problem yes, but we have so far been fairly consistent with some very decent performances without certain important players, now two are back with very soon Benteke it makes us much stronger which is usually not the situation for us at this stage of the season, defence wise we have excellent cover but in midfield and attack it will just depend who it is, I feel over forty points is easier to see then not.

The summer will have to bring good dealings though to grasp the opportunity we have of being a surprise for next season, our back line is something many teams wish they could build on.

Wasn't that meant to be this season ?

There is a groundswell of opinion that it is the infrastructure of the club that is fundamentally wrong.

I have no reason to be confident that this summer will be any different from last given that it will probably be the same personnel conducting the transfer business

I have the same feeling.

We should of been focusing on getting in the best staff across the board not people that have history with the club.

This can be difficult because we dont have very good facilities but this is another thing that should of been sorted it's silly to think it was Pardew that forced SP to fix up a lot of the training facilities to current state.

With staff in place which is not just coaches but people that will be dealing with commercial side of things proper director of football who will setup a proper world scouting network we would move forward.

This stuff does cost but in long run it's investment doing everything on the cheap like we currently do doesn't work.

If current owners are not willing to do this stuff then they need to go might as well get a few of them to sell up because every one with sense knows football clubs are not big money makers as such directly its what comes with them if run correctly/successfully that then opens doors.

All I see is SP taking out of the club not putting anything in.

Millwall mate to me: "You've got some good players there, you just need to stay up and then build on that for next season"

Me: "Literally the same story every year or even transfer window.... never happens"

Now Zaha's got a bit of green grass ahead of him here... and finds Ambrose... not a bad effort!!!!

Lets see what happens in the remaining games of this season first, we only have to concentrate on our finishing to be a solid side in my opinion and we have just started bringing in Wickham and Benteke, both players have a lot to prove.
The new stand will start once houses are resolved.

Not impressed with both.

Roy is too soft he just appears to allow too much and has not much interest in being involved with anything outside first team.

Clear example this new keeper Roy has not even seen anything about him he has been signed by Freedman that's not the right way to run things.

You don't seem to understand. i know RH didn't win the world cup, did any other England manager? winning a world cup is about winning a small amount of games, about 6 i guess, but we are talking about OVERALL record, and RH won more games than Ramsey its not my theory, its a fact, its in the record books.
try looking one up.

This calamity is down to Parish and his cohorts on the board. No money, no ambition, no desire to achieve the next or any other level. Every window is the same speculation but no result. Last day scramble followed by all the excuses. I have followed Palace fot over 55yrs and will do so until I am forced to seek new pastures but for God sake Parish either put up or sell up and give us some hope!

Winning the world cup is as easy as winning only six games?

You've dug yoyrself in quite deep on this when what you're saying is absolutely ludicrous.

In terms of stats, as you love them so much, Roy won 3 out of 11 tournament matches for England. How is anything else relevant?
Just to be sure, I looked it up: out of the 20 manager we've had, he's got the 9th best win ration, so I've got absolutely no clue what you're basing your 'facts' on.

In recent years, Capello, Allardyce, Eriksson, Hoddle and Southgate have better win percentages.

And as for wins? Ramsey 69. Hodgson 33. Alf's win percentages is superior too.

Yes, the same as the last few seasons, we never build on that to move forward to anything other than the groundhog relegation escape act was the point.

Nonsensical comment, I don’t understand why you’ve written that
