These are all perfectly reasonable arguments. Just not as exciting as a juicy space conspiracy.

I'm always prepared to entertain conspiracy theories but without evidence, that is all they are.

The only position I object to is one that dismisses potentially valid evidence without investigation just to toe the official line.
I feel that some people are inclined to disbelieve everything that conflicts with the accepted version and equally, there are those that will believe anything for the most tenuous of reasons.

There were over 500000 people involved in the space programme, even if only 5% of those were in the position to know everything, over the last 50 years a few would have needed money and would have sold their secrets to the press...that never happened! The Russians and the Chinese were monitoring the whole thing, every landing, and would have jumped at the chance to discredit the Americans, dont you think? The Americans absolutely landed on the moon, Next you'll be telling us that the earth is flat!!

Question is why we’ve never been back?

Now spending millions and millions on going to the red planet when we still don’t know how the moon realistically got to where it is and how it correlates so perfectly with events such as Eclipses etc.

Still so much to learn seemingly no interest in going back.

Going back will not gain us any new information, so what's the point, getting to Mars will but this all costs massive huge amounts so that's why we don't bother with the moon.
They believe that a very large object hit the earth about 4.45 billion years ago and from the dust created the moon was gravitated together, every day the moon moves a tiny bit further away from us but it takes many years to register it, we are just lucky to be here now and to see these Eclipses, someone has to be here ..lol

It's probably a case of a stopped clock being right twice a day, we highlight the correct times but ignore the much larger incorrect times....they no doubt also believed in a lot of weird stuff.

That Rolf Harris could send you wrong no end of times....I mean....He once convinced me that he had three legs.
