Fans favourite, left sided midfielder, or no 10 , great flexibility and relatively cheap?

Good player - not a priority position - any cash must be spent on a striker to help mitigate the risk of relegation.

£12m would be a great price for him, though obviously West Ham will be declaring an interest.

Still doesn't solve the centre forward issue though.

Striker is top priority - but we need another attacking player, ideally left-footed, but we need someone to compete with Townsend on the wing, and someone to play left mid, and ideally someone who can do both, Schlupp can't start, it's not Meyer's position, Riedewald is left footed but more of a defensive player, if Michael Antonio was left-footed he'd be ideal, but Moses can play on the left, with PVA behind him allowing him to attack more than defend if the finances were OK then it could be a great move, unless Victor found it too much of a step down, but he's been loaned to West Ham and Stoke already, there aren't too many places where he'd be a natural fit, but Selhurst is one of them.

And when we qualify for the Champions League, he'll count towards our homegrown player quota.

Ask me about Ronald de Boer.

We do need another attacking player, but if money is tight, the cash has to go toward a striker. Would love to see Moses back though, exactly the kind of direct attacking player that would do well for us.

it's amazing what just one or two key players can do to a squad - getting in Moses would keep Townsend AND Zaha on their toes, three wingers fighting for two places, Meyer and Schlupp would be relegated to 2nd and 3rd choice for left side of midfield position, and you'd have Moses and Meyer fighting for the No.10 spot if we ever play a formation that uses that role, I don't think it's an either or situation, the squad is a bit unbalanced and lacking in competition from the bench, remember what Bolasie, Delaney (sand Moritz) did for us back in 2012/13 - relegation fodder to table toppers almost overnight, we need Moses AND a decent striker. The more I think about having Moses back the more I like the idea, hopefully there'll be too much competition for places at West ham, thought they do appear to be going places under Pellegrini and would be a serious temptation.

Good comments, agreed!

Totally agree that the priority is a striker. But!

We are in this mess because we do not have enough players like Moses. Quite honestly our only “utility” player is Schlupp....that speaks volumes.

If we have more players like Moses we can use some gentle rotation and not have our players burned out for the crunch games.
