It’s Michael Oliver (33) from Northumberland. It will be his fourth Palace match this season. We lost all the other three - v Liverpool, Wolves and Chelsea.

Make that 4 then . . . Bearing in mind his recent performances elsewhere, I don't hold out much hope

Apparently Kevin Friend endeared himself to the Watford faithful last night we some interesting decisions. I heard Keith Hackett today on the radio dam him with faint praise. He suggested Friend would benefit from VAR when it is introduced. Don't know about that but I think Palace would certainly benefit from Friend having VAR.

Roy hodgson could be the ref and we would still not win or even score.

Personally I think Palace and football generally would benefit from Friend and all his ilk being sacked and prosecuted for fraud.

Leicester will be practising their diving then if they watched his performance in the Liverpool game.

Clattenburg Jnr. I think he’s better than Clattenburg, who was, in my opinion, the worst referee I have ever seen in the premier league. I formed this opinion, not only based upon what I consider to be his poor on field decision making - invariably against lesser clubs - but because I always suspected that he was driven by a desire to be “chums” with top players and managers - as evidenced by that quite unpalatable and revolting Ferguson hugging, back patting, giggling display before the cup final.
