Albufeira is brill ideal for kids(don't leave them alone if you go to a restaurant) low prices great beaches AND 10min drive/taxi you get SCOOBYS in Gale (Simon Scoble runs it & is a massive Palace fan). Its designed for kids while adults can relax round pool great restaurant on-site & reasonably priced drinks all round.
