That'll be those who have robbed you and yours for over 30yrs+ now......but sadly you'll never see it.
As far as i'm aware Johnson and JRM haven't been that fortunate so far.

Anyone think May had her own people put in the last few letters to force the vote?

She does have previous of going for the opportunistic vote.

Ian Dale mentioned this was discussed in the summer to flush out her enemies but she turned the idea down. However you maybe right she may have decided to lance the boil.

I hadn't even thought of this but you might be on to something. Sneaky and clever if true. Not as though it makes her job any easier though.

So she is going to hang around for a little bit longer just to turn the total mess she has caused into permanent damage then walk. That’s worse than Cameron, who must currently go down as the weakest / worst leader since the war. Maybe she is going to trump him. Nice. Great for the country. What a total mess.

What mess.
She is doing what the voters who won want whilst realising the huge amount who 'lost' still have a voice.
Cant see a problem with it.

Is it me, or does JRM remind you of 'Beaker'

JRM is top-watt clever, the very portrait of suave aplomb and a pillar of linguistic rectitude.

Cameron created this whole saga and has slunk off into the background. May wanted the top job, but it was never going to be easy. The Euro bureaucrats were always going to make it as difficult as possible as the UK is a big cash cow to them.
Whoever is in the top job has faults, but you have to admire Mays commitment and determination. To me it seems a bloody awful job and can’t think why anyone would want it.

Absolutely, and I would add dedication to public duty. She has had an extremely challenging time and the start of her Premiership saw those ghastly terrorist atrocities.All-in-all it has been a torrid time for her but she continues with vim and vigour.
