Absolute worldy save from Guaita, that Vardy chance had goal written all over it.

I’ve been critical of Kelly in the past but he was immense today.

Also I saw a little bit more strength from Sorloth today and better hold up play. Hopefully he continues to improve.

Finally some positives around the club.

Agree, Guaita won us those points.

For sure. I wouldn’t put Tomkins back in after that, he was immense.

His positional sense is exceptional.

In which case I’m glad you’re not picking the team. Kelly was great today, but Tomkins is a far superior player.

Only thing that's annoying is Roy will switch back to his favorites even after a few he put in this game deserve to stay in the team

A very big 3 points.

We created almost nothing and Ayew is utter garbage. Send him back to Swansea in January please.
I thought we would blow it as we seemed incapable of keeping the ball but Wan was brilliant today and the keeper pulled off a world class save. Even Kelly had a good game.
Oh and we won without Zaha. A Christmas miracle.

A shame it's City next week.

Wayne has been one of our best players, Zaha is our best player and aside from a couple of recent questionable performances Tomkins has been very good. Who are you referring to?

Ayew ran a lot, which was the only positive you could give. Vicente could have cost us a goal, but also saved us one, but aside from that had almost zilch to do but waste time. Kelly had a good game, but I still think Tomkins is the better player.

Pretty awful game to watch, but a great goal to win it - three shots on target between the two teams!! But two wins at home in a row

Don't worry about that now. Let's just wait and see. Savour the victory back 5 looked solid again. What a save and what a goal.

Guaita, Kelly deserve another start after those performances. Defence is not an area I’m worried about. With Dann fit we have 4 good centre half’s and are adequately covered at right and left back in Ward and Schlupp.

I really hope Wickham is ready to join in though, because we need him. Ayew was bang average today and Sorloth’s feet need to leave the ground when he jumps. Wilf will be back for next game but he needs to be out on the wing cutting in if he is going to cause trouble. Got to go 4-5-1 next game.

I would pick a team on form and reward squad players giving others the hope they need to push themselves in training and fight for a place they know they can win.

Or you can play favourites.

Agree, hard fought victory in a scrappy game of little chances for either side. 2 home wins on the bounce, both clean sheets and without Wilf today. Happy days. Goin to hit the beer cellar for a special impy stout tonight. COYP !!

The important thing is that Zaha 'has to play' curse has been lifted which should give confidence to the side.

Outside of attack we have enough strength in depth to be a mid table side.
