You seem to be saying that Ayew was invisible last night. Did you watch the match as he was a contender for MOTM.

It's 106 miles to Chicago, we got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark... and we're wearing sunglasses.

I thought Ayew was outstanding last night. Pleased for him that he wasn’t subbed again . What I really like was his hold up play in the last 10 minutes buying us free kicks too run the clock down. His work rate through out the whole game was excellent.

This day last year 15th with 12 points having just lost 3-1 at our friends down the road.

Just seen that Jordan got man of the match last night. Highly deserved and another step closer to my prediction of him being the best striker to wear the famous red and blue. Let’s just hope the big boys don’t come in for him in January. I wouldn’t take less than £60 million in this current market.

I was at the game last night and to me he seemed to be either running around like a headless chicken or wondering about until the last 10 min when he got told to buck his game up or be sub for either Wickham or Benteke

Wow, really?! Really?

I'd say that's the best performance by a palace front man in a long long time, in difficult circumstances. Held the ball up, brings others into the game and made several good forward runs to get us up the pitch (and won a good few fouls) particularly in the last 15 when we looked leggy.

???

He presses, he holds the ball up, he brings it forward, uses it well. Great for the entire game yesterday.

Ayew is not my favourite but he was top class last night and but for his mazy run Schlupp would not have scored!
Top marks

Were you watching the same game? I thought he was immense last night, especially in the last 30 mins when clearly they were all knackered.

I believe I mentioned on HOL when Ayew was being vilified that he did score 10 goals for Swansea in his last season there when they were relegated and that he showed a real willingness to run the channels.

And of course many thought that the club had taken leave of their senses signing Ayew on a permanent deal last summer for £2.5 Mill.! He has certainly surpassed expectations this season - credit where credit is due.

Believe you me what he did last night takes a high level of fitness. As well has always making himself available he made incisive runs with intelligent movement. As someone else has said previously in the last 30 minutes he relieved enormous pressure on the defence by simply holding the ball up and winning a lot of fouls in the process winding up in injury time at least 3 of their players. This effectively killed the game and any hope they had of scoring.
I think he was also carrying a knock as he was moving in pain.
If only Mr Benteke would put in this much work rate but this is a whole not new subject.
Well done Jordan.

Bring back Brolin

he was MOTM on Amazon's coverage of the game. Awarded by Jermaine Jenas. On that note, does anyone have any idea what Schlupp actually handed him? It was some sort of purple, blue, yellow tube - hopefully not a trophy in the style of an Amazon wireless speaker. It actually looked like it could have been this
