I think we'll do fine if we can get a good attacking rhythm going like against Burnley. I think they're a very similar team, but a bit dirtier. Hope Wilf keeps a fairly level head throughout if he plays.

I don't think we'll train very much, just a few tactical sessions and a few training games for sharpness. Hence I don't really see tiredness being an issue.

really don't think it's complacency. think these games are simply much harder than we credit and the crowd's normally disinterested-yet-high expectations are problematic.

If you want to live in a world full of kindness, respect and love, try to show these qualities.

But after beating Burnley we were shocking at Brighton and I’ve seen this Palace way so many times over the years. How our teams and individuals, some that have never achieved a great deal at that moment in time or ever do, can be complacent is really poor and probably explains why they don’t reach higher heights.

Indeed, the Cardiff game fills me with uneasy apprehension - it would be just like Palace to come crashing down from the dizzying heights by putting on a totally dysfunctional and inept performance in front of the expectant home crowd. However, if we manage to get three points on Boxing Day, I can see us beating Chelski as well.

This game will not be as easy as anticipated. But that aside it is one that is very winnable and one that we should be taking 3 points from.

We will need composed heads on the day. Warnock as always will have his team fired up and will use every trick in the book to turn the game into a physical battle. Wilf needs keep his head right from the very start right up until the final whistle. Warnock will definetly view him as vulnerable and will make sure he is targeted right from the off.

If we keep our heads and concentrate on our game we will end up with all three points.

Looking at Cardiff's defensive line-up,Callum Paterson was bought as a right-back but he started his career as a striker. In Scotland he was a very attacking right-back and got 10 goals for Hearts season before last.Warnock has questioned his ability as a defender and has been playing him as a striker.Bruno Manga is a centre-half by trade but has been moved to right-back by Warnock and he had never played in this position until Warnock moved him there.

Well said, Warnock will certainly know how to needle our players, and park the bus. Most likely outcome is a bore draw, but I hope yore right!

If we keep the ball on the ground and play with pace and quick tempo I fancy us to win.
If it turns into a battle with lots of high balls, set pieces and long throws we're in for a difficult game.
Speaking of complacency II hope that, if we win , the board do not assume there is now no need to strengthen on the back of three consecutive wins and then neglect to add to the squad.

After we shocked the premier league with a 1-0 victory at selhurst, against chelsea, courtesy of a Terry og, wasn't our next game away at Cardiff and we won 3-0?

If so I hope history repeats itself.

I was there and the current Manchester Utd manager took Wilf off despite him being Cardiff’s biggest threat on the day. Then there was a row involving our current Sporting Director. What a sh1t show modern football is. Glad we’ve got Roy.
