I've seen many wonderful moments over the years but when it was announced that Crystal Palace football club had been saved by Steve Parish and co has to be the best

I’m younger than most on here, been going since 2000. My top three ‘moments’ are:
1. Puncheon goal in the cup final
2. 2nd Zaha goal away at Brighton in the playoffs
3. Final whistle at Hillsborough

For me the semi v the bin dippers in 90
What a day
Younger fans will have different memories but life is full and football isnt just a game 'quote'

Best 'moment' is the 1990 semi when Andy Gray equalised to take it to extra time. We all thought all was lost and we'd be leaving gallant losers up to that moment. When Gray scored that goal I just knew we were going to go on and win. Liverpool did too. It was the moment they realised we were not going to buckle. NOT TODAY SCOUSERS!

I won’t mention all the usual obvious ones again, but a random one that always springs to mind for me is, Steve Lovell scoring the winning goal away to Wrexham in 1981, I was a regular away traveller back then and we hadn’t won away for 18 months, although 6 months of that was 2 close seasons, but it still seemed a heck of a long time and so when Lovell popped up with a late winner and jumped up on the fence in front of us it’s still up there as a special moment for me as all 50 odd of us went mental.

For me it certainly wasn't my first ever home game (0-0 against Derby) or first ever away game (0-0 against Birmingham).
Stand out memories for me are favourite game and moment - 2-2 at Hillsborough in 2010. Hopkin curling one in although I didn't manage to meet up with the person who had a ticket for me and so instead remember knocking a table over in some random pub near Wembley when I went berserk when the goal went in and luckily the landlord was a top bloke and was just happy for me.....similarly when the goal went in at Stockport whilst watching in a pub in Hereford where I'm from was a special moment. Most entertaining game unfortunately for all the wrong reasons was the 5-4 defeat at Swansea a couple of years back, was fuming but fair play the entertainment value and 90 minute roller-coaster ride was second to none.

"It's ok postman , he'll lick you to death" "That isn't really that comforting , I still end up dead !!"

Close 2nd and 3rd:

The winner in the above game.

Dave Swindlehurst scoring at Elland Road, 1976. I was lucky enough to be there, age 16.

All FA Cup ‘moments’.

I'm voting for Swindlehurst - you were lucky to be there YT

Chelsea at home 1969 was my first game (aged 7) The Holmesdale was full so my dad and I ended up in the Whitehorse. Don't remember anything about the game (just as well) as I spent the entire match looking at the packed terrace at the other end. Spent the next 50years standing and sitting in my beloved Holmesdale.
Beating Manure 5-0 is another fond memory, along with beating Lincoln 4-1 to gain promotion and that Burnley night. Anyone else remember taunting those 2 weed fans in the Whitehorse?
Happy days
