Can we try and get the desired players at the beginning of the window and not at the end when only dross is left and the best have gone!
Please, no more Cardiff games, 31 shots and we could have lost 1-0 had the goalkeeper not pulled off a wonderful save.
Solanke, Abrahams and Moses would be good by the end of the day on the 1st!
Maybe keep Wickham, say goodbye to the rest and say thank you!

if we maybe a loanee or 2 thats a different kettle of fish.

somebody mentioned moses...having moses back would be lovely, but who is getting dropped for him? if we get injurys towards the end of the season just use kids.

All well and good saying we are ok and wait till the summer. All very short sighted in my opinion. We are relying on Wickham not pulling up again and Benteke coming back and rediscovering his first season form..really? Coupled with 2-3 back to back defeats and we are straight back into the brown stuff.

If we can pull off Solanke and Moses I think we would have had a successful window. For us.

so rather than shooting the sensible posters who see the bigger picture than panic buying down, why dont you tell us who you think we should sign who is going to be cheap & be happy without 1st team football?

you must have ideas to form your opinion unless your just hoping for anybody to he signed, which is how we ended up with schlupp, mutch, sorloth & ayew.

Next idea??

This rumour, which I hope is right, speaks of Sorloth and Ayew Out, and Solanke In. [Link]

Makes sense. A loan out was possibly already part of the plan for Sørloth, but he couldn't go during the striker shortage with Tekers out of it. Don't think Solanke is necessarily a unit but should give the wingers someone to aim for. Gives another dimension though with the other two back since Sørloth is a similar kind of player to Tekers / Wickham but not in the same class.

Ayew can just f*** off because he's s***. Perhaps Swansea are short of ball boys.

As long as we’re not taking on more than we can handle.
Maybe the Crystals would be willing to lend a hand, or two?

Why don’t you wait and see who we get first?

Probably because there have been too many windows where the fans have done exactly that, had absolute faith in our owners to bring in what we need and ended up with nothing. Or worse, a signing that is just for the sake of it that ends up rubbish, cant get in the team and cant sell him because we've given him such a good contract that no one else will cover his wages and he refuses to leave.

Alex Ferguson used to say work begins on signing new players the moment the previous window closes. I have a feeling sometimes at Palace our board dont even think about new players until the window opens!

I would assume the board does exactly that (actually before then if you think about Guaita!) but they can't make a move until the next window opens. And then it's a matter of negotiation - which always requires patience.
