Troy Deeney - August 2018 (about Wilf) Troy Deeney - January 2019 (about Ryan Gosling) Hopefully his comments about the referee 'bottling' it following the Bournemouth game last night will see a fine & ban. Mostly because he's a dangerous bugger and will likely score next weekend

I think a new rule should be brought in where if so many players are booked for fouls on the same opposing player then then they should suffer a penalty, maybe even a penalty kick. It’s certainly something that’s crept into the game more and more (although if you look back it has happened in the past. Italy v Maradona in WC82 before Diego lost it and retaliated) and should be stamped out. Sorry for the unfortunate pun.

Something has to be done I remember a game where Arsenal's Reye's was kicked to pieces each player taking it in turns. Maybe the referee should warn the Captain next time your player gets a straight red even if he hasn't been near the "victim" before.

Every time I think of the odious Deeney I remember the time we beat them 1-0 despite getting zero shots on target by bouncing the ball off his arse for an own goal. His comments last night were a disgrace and it will be a travesty if he doesn't get banned. Scum.

Prison scum deeney. should never be let near the Prem. how many dozen other jobs are off-limits for people with a criminal record ? childcare, teaching, banking, accounting, company director, cops, nightclub security....plus loads of other jobs....if i recall correctly.

After persistent offences by a team, the ref will say “the next offender will be off - understood?”

I mean where else can you get away with swearing and abusing someone so much as they do to refs ? Then there is the money and shading dealings that go on across the football world. Having some bloke who went to jail for a while and been re-formed over a number of years playing in the Premier league is probably the least of footballs worries... Having said that he probably does need to reign his comments in somewhat as they don't help.

I'd come on as a sub after my team had been warned for going off their feet and was sent off the pitch a couple of minutes later because I hadn't heard the warning. I was cheating and my team mate had been all game so it was absolutely fair in my eyes even though I was fuming at the time. Should definately bring it in. It would also allow for a much more flowing game.

Deeney is the biggest s***house in the league. A nasty, talentless player stealing a living on thuggery and luck. Footballing wise, a carthorse at best, charging about the place like Harvey Price on steroids indiscriminately hacking at the ball/players' legs. Occasionally a hack results in a goal and everyone creams themselves about how 'underrated' and 'hardworking' he is. He isn't. He's a nasty scumbag who is lucky to be at liberty, let alone let loose on the pitch who must have levels of dirt on his employers to justify his ongoing employment. Similar to the lack of surprise when an unmuzzled Pitbull savages a child, he'll snap someone's legs one day and we'll all be there, his quotes in hand saying I told you so whilst the powers that be and the moronic fawning media shrug their shoulders and move on to champion the next 'salt of the earth', 'boy done good' 'turned his life around' undeserved hard luck merchant. Rant. Over.

The quotes about Wilf were disgraceful and proved that Watford's pre-match plan was to cripple him asap. I hope the ref next week has digested these comments and Luka re-iterates them when talking to ref pre-match )didn't Deeney also say he would point out to the ref about Zaha's perceived diving)?

Don't think I ever remember Deeney hacking away at someone (he might encourage others to do it which oisn't right I agree) )but he has hardly been sent off or even booked that often. Not saying he's that talented and some of our fans would say Troy's is past his best but the guy has some football ability. We paid 18 million for someone who cannot control a ball in Andre Gray... Deeney can at least do that! BTW Didn't know Ian Wright had been to jail...yet employed by the BBC and other TV channels.
