I’m sure ( blind optimism?) that we will bring in a couple of players.
It’s surprising we’ve let 6 go without anyone coming in and I can only assume the delay is caused by waiting for other clubs to release the players we’ve lined up.
It’s a dangerous game as we saw with the Solanke deal falling apart.
Roy said at the press conference he would like a striker and midfield player.
Let’s hope he’s consulted about the choices or there’s no guarantee they’ll be involved given Roy’s track record on involvement of new signings!
