Amen.

One of our posters commented that we had the best triangle of keeper and CBs in the league.

What happened?

Andersen has downed tools and isn’t interested, when was the last you saw him jump.

With any squad depth he'd be dropped right now. Has gone well off the boil

On his past performance he shouldn't be allowed anywhere near the RB position!
I still don't understand why he was put their in place of Clyne who had been playing well and who is very experienced.

Probably because the management had been reading this forum and the clamour here for him to play at right back

Hate to say it, but I agree, you do wonder how much he might be up for a real scrap now the going’s getting tough

Did the same with Fulham 20-21 .Lost interest in the relegation battle .
Really cant afford a slow centre back to not be on it mentally ,may as well play Tomkins for what good he has been these past few weeks

And we still need a striker

Ward has many detractors on here and there's no doubt that he's not an attacking threat nor, at his age, a long term solution.
However, I would comtend we've missed his grit and defensive nous in recent games.
He's usually a good penalty box defender who competes in the air and puts his body on the line to defend the goal.
It's also evident that we've looked more ill at ease defensing set pieces in his absence.

back in the day, Ward was amazing. He defo has the brain required to read a threat and to choose the right tactic. His legs, however, 60 minutes tops....and even then only if we defend deep. Put Ward in a sprint against say Saka and he will look ancient.

Eze Peasy at Anfield....

Actually wasn’t he part of a back three?

Back 3, back 5, wing-backs, who knows in that game, same result
