Sako or Puncheon to come off the bench for an impact, no brainer. Sako is costing less than Puncheon was, seems like a good short term deal.
He will fit in straight away, unlike a foreign import who would take time to settle.

Do you think he's fit enough. 30 years old and hardly played since he got injured for us.

Does it solve our goal scoring problem?

Piss poor all round. The limit of Parish’s ambition I am afraid. I would rather see one of the academy boys stepping up than paying good money to watch Sako again.

I'm happy if he is to take Schlupp's or Wickham's bench space. But with Roy, it might mean that Meyer will get even fewer chances. Hopefully, that won't be the case.

It's Parish-style short-termism a la Adebayor, Flamini, etc. If it's for 3-4 months, it's fine. If he's seen as our third striker for next season (behind 'legends' Wickham and Benteke) then it's bad, bad.

This guy would of stayed at the club had it not been for two reasons

1. signed new contract with lower wages
2. free spot left in 25 (he wanted to come back last day of window but Punch refused to go out on loan)

Roy likes Sako so its not a surprise the same with if Cabaye comes back as well both as I pointed out would of stayed had they not been greedy.

I expect 6 month deal only if does well extension for another year.

Not a fan of this but I understand it

Can’t understand the negativity to this on a short term basis.
It’s not as if he’s coming in at the expense of a £30 million striker.
We’re clearly not in a position to ,or choose not to, spend large sums on a new striker.
Sako can play in different forward positions. has an eye for goal and will have a shot unlike our other forwards.Roy also will play him which he wouldn’t necessarily do with other new players going by his track record.
What’s there to lose in the short term?

In my opinion because he's not what we need, when he was asked the other day Roy said he wanted a midfielder and a striker. I really hope I wrong, but Bakary was not the first name that sprang to mind - we need goals.

If he can come on and score 5 goals then he would have done better than out other strikers
It’s the devil you know I suppose. Not ideal by all means.

The guy had a serious injury in Feb last year. Since then he's played 5 league games fof a championship side, starting 2, not playing a full 90 mins, a total of 160 mins football in a year.and no goals. ....WTF
