Not sure why so many are being negative about this. Assuming that he passes the medical, he's a great back-up player to have on board. In a way, I hope that he never plays for us as it means that he hasn't been needed but if he is needed, he should be better than any that have been shipped out. Therefore the squad has been improved.

Shame if he's cup tied though.

It's 106 miles to Chicago, we got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark... and we're wearing sunglasses.

Didn’t see this one coming.

Rakip was signed to make up the numbers in training according to Parish, so why not Bak Sak.

Everyone slating this, please remember our impact sub that gets brought on to change a game, today, is Jeffrey Schlupp.

Bolasie or Sako is a far superior option to cause some havoc in the last 20 mins.

Trump lost. Badly. Hahahahahahaha.

People are strange, many keep calling for ex players to be signed Bolasie, and Moses . When we sign an ex player, they complain lack of ambition etc.
Sako costs nothing only wages and had some decent appearances for us at the end of last season. Moving out Sørloth and getting in Sako is only positive to me.

I thought Sako had just been taking us for a ride and it was a real surprise when he re-appeared and put in some positive performances last season.

Can't see any downside to this.

We see teams like Bournemouth look to the present and future by signing the likes of Solanke,Mepham and last season Brooks and we end up with the return of Sako.

I believe supporters hoped that after last season's trials and tribulations we might actually kick on a tad but clearly hopes have been dashed. We are in a worse position in the table than we we were at this stage last season.I'm afraid the effects of financial constraints are there for all to see.

He scored their only goal in the 3rd round.

Optimistic as ever

Hes signing for free as a back up to what we currently have on lower wages than he was on before.
Are you really going to get the hump about signing a free back up player?
We've lost 7 players, and of all 7 that left, Sako is better than all of them.
I bet you cheered the goals he scored last season when he was in form before his injury.

Not sure it matters if it doesn't add, I can see YB at a pinch, but not this - be delighted to be proved wrong.

Return of the Sak. Seminal tune from Mark Morrison.

Some of the relevant lyrics to the return of Bakary:

Cause I knew it from the start
Baby when you broke my heart (when he left)
That I had to come again, and show you that I’m real (speaks for itself).

Here I am
Once again
Pump up the world
Watch my flow
Here I go

It’s meant to be.

Bournemouth don't seem to care about FFP, they certainly didn't when they were promoted. Do you believe that we should keep to FFP or not?

I'm certainly not going to come on here and advocate a flouting of the rules.

I cited Bournemouth as an example as they appear to have a long-term vision in terms of their transfer activity buying the likes of Fraser,Solanke,Mepham,Lewis Cook,Brooks etc whereas we end up with Sako.Dread to think who will be the next returnee.

I personally wouldn't bet against it the way things are going.Possibly talking to John Salako for a return to action.
