Good sigining considering the deadwood we have got rid off. Scored some cracking goals last season before injury. He adds a different dimension especially if he is match fit. Another one to consider is Cabaye

After we get in Bak Sak and Yala we wont need more wingers so Salako wouldn't be a factor. Smart money is surely on Brighty to get on the team sheet as we are light on goals, and he has Parish's right ear on game days. However by that logic we could see Susanna Reid deployed as a number 10 here soon.

To be fair, I seem to remember at the time he wanted to sign a new contract at the reduced salary however his agent advised him not to and it all back-fired on him. He got a bit of unnecessary stick from some Palace fans because they thought he was being greedy however in retrospect it appears it was the agent being, (as usual) greedy.

I'm not thrilled by this, but maybe the whole ordeal could have struck some humility into BS and he'll work hard to earn back some respect and dignity at SE25?

To be fair Dougie seems to be clueless when it comes to finding players so he probably didn't realise he was a Palace player last season.
