he is what i call and old time winger very direct not to many thrills works hard up and down the wing,but he has only just started to help cover the fullback which he was lacking,every game he works hard now doesnt spend time on the floor looking for a foul (WZ),so he must be getting close to a call up

I don't think he quite has the creativity for an England call-up, although he perfectly suits us. Amazing work rate and he's really been delivering in the final third lately too. Very important that he's stepped up, given Wilf's lack of form.

Was thinking this myself. Probably doesnt fit with Southgate's thoughts on youth but it also wouldnt surprise me if he made the squad to be honest.

I don't think he'd let England down but I don't see it happening. Although only 27 he is probably seen as one of yesterdy's men - but you never know. He's a great credit to Palace and himself. Always gives his all, has a great temperament, and seems a good bloke all round. And this season has started finding the net a bit more often.
