He may be getting on a bit, he may not be as quick or agile as he once was, he may have gone a long time without playing much ... but see today, that was class.

He made a quality reflex save just before half time and he got down well the push one behind early in the second half. Great saves at crucial times you could say they were match winning saves

Is there some talented Mr Ripley s*** going on?

Haha, absolutely not and if you see someone rooting through your bins looking for discarded bills and personal documents it isn't me.

so good to see Jules roll back the years but he is our 3rd choice keeper,

Reason for me to say that, against liverpool he bottled it with salah goal the old Jules would have kept coming out,the mistake for the 3rd i can live with caught in two minds and did neither,

today didnt claim a ball, kelly at to clear it in the end,

as someone said on another post it wouldnt be Jules if he didnt make a mistake, outside Jackson and Martyn he his the 3rd best keeper we have had in my time

So thank you Jules for bring back happy memoirs of how good you was and not remembered for the liverpool game

Overall he had a good game so top marks but at his age the odd appearance is all he needs.
Stay with the club coaching and as an Ambassador after the end of the season - hopefully!

[Link] Julian Speroni and Connor Wickham the unlikely Crystal Palace heroes
Roy Hodgson hailed the “good news stories” of Connor Wickham scoring his first goal in more than two injury-ravaged years and veteran goalkeeper Julian Speroni breaking Crystal Palace’s all-time record of clean sheets as his side knocked Tottenham Hotspur out of the FA Cup.

Assuming that Guaita is fit again, presumably he'll be back in goal for the Southampton game - but it would be great if Jules was retained for our cup games as we romp to the final/limp out in the next round to lower-league opposition.

Ask me about Ronald de Boer.

So now we will have four goal-keepers, Guita and Wayne should be available quite quickly.

And with Jules display against Spurs, what order of merit?

Tbh, I still think Speroni is the best....

Would love to see Speroni start tomorrow. After the spurs performance he deserves to keep the shirt simple as that.

The Queen supports Crystal Palace. Perhaps she'll buy the club then legitimately all the money in England shall be ours. Plus all the swans.
