I have a gut feeling Luka will sign for Everton before the deadline, he is good friends with Marco Silva and it looks like Idrissa Gueye is going to PSG, if it happens we have ourselves to blame for letting his contract run into his last year, cant afford to let him walk for nothing.

I suspect that may be the case. They comply with the McCarthy smokescreen so we can go about signing a Luka replacement elsewhere just days before selling and receiving the cash for Luka.

I’ll be gutted but maybe Luka wants a bigger club and be paid more money than we’re trying to make a maximum for everyone going forward, apart from, goal scorers, if we ever get any.

Have admit that I am really starting to worry about this season!

I genuinely thought that by now we would have had key players in place. I had hoped we would have been looking at the likes of Mooy, Maupay and a good right back early in the window.

Unfortunately the players we are being linked with are not filling me with any great hope or excitement.
Not so sure we will get a striker as I am beginning to think that Wickham extending his contract and Ayew signing on a permanent will be seen as our striker recruitment.
