1. We should not have lost that lead. Sat back, invited them on, paid the inevitable price.

2. Wilf has confirmed what we feared - he will never realise his potential because of his mental failings. Tonight really has confirmed that. It's sad.

3. f*** that f***ing ref, and f*** Romeu.

Thought PVA shouldnt have turned his back on the player taking the shot for their goal. Once again a rare mistake and we are punished. Makes sats game more interesting now.

fouls are apart of football and the ones on zaha was dealt with (zaha got sent of because he is an idiot)

this was awful result should of won this same old second half we are poor and again roy with poor tactics refusing subs

Clearly you were watching a different game, because I saw their players foul him persistently in rota, so they didn't draw yellows from the referee for a chain of takedowns (yeah, apart from Romeu's 4 fouls in succession with not a single booking). And for a vast number of those fouls, no free kick was given, including a clear penalty.

No. The fouls were not "dealt with".

They had a clear game-plan today: kick the s*** out of us. Needle the players to provoke a response (look at the s***-eating grin from Ward-Prowse when he knew he'd needled Zaha after fouling him off the ball AND getting away with it again).

t***s.

There is a long list of badly officiated games, normally involving us, just add this one. Nothing will change, not quite as bad a England v Columbia, but close.

If we did not sit back in second half and played the same as first half we would have won by a country mile ! Bad tactics . And should have brought wickham or Benteke on to hold ball up .

Yep. Roy deciding at HT to park the bus lost us two points. The man is a moron. The sooner he’s gone the better tbh

Whatever we say about the referee, and he was truly awful, we cannot escape the fact that we threw away 2 points. Ward Prowse was in acres of space for an age to the build up for their goal . No-one closed him down.

Why Ayew was still on the pitch only Woy will know. But we also missed a hatful once again including that free header from Sakho which missed by a country mile. And someone needs to give Kouyate shooting practice. For a midfielder of his size to never get on the goal sheet is pretty poor.

Hodgson needs to know when to make substitutions. When are either Benteke or Wickham going to start?

Truly appalling refereeing - some really nasty fouls completely ignored. If players don't get any protection from the referee, its inevitable that at some point someone is going to react. Sure they shouldn't, but if the referee had been doing his job, the whole situation would never have arisen. Mariner should have given himself the red card.

Truly appalling management - every week the Roy manages to turn victory into defeat through poor team selection and a blind refusal to substitute players. Last year I was grateful to Roy. This year I am reaching the point where I am going to have to stop watching matches in order to keep my blood pressure in check. Unfortunately, things are not going to get better, because Roy has shown that he cannot change. We don't need to sign more players; what we need is a new manager who can get the best out of our existing squad.

Having had a few minutes to calm down and leaving Zaha and the ref aside for a moment, got to say that Roy's in game decisions have again cost us points there.

You feel like a stuck record writing the same thing about his substitutions every single week but why on earth was he the only person in the stadium who couldn't see that we needed to bring Wickham or Benteke on? Not only was Ayew totally ineffective but with a big physical centre forward on the pitch their defenders would have had something else to focus on than fouling Zaha.

Roy is a great manager in lots of ways, he has us organised brilliantly and sets us up to defend very well but his teams are utterly predictable and his stubborn refusal to bring on anybody other than Schlupp before the 75th minute is utterly infuriating. Wouldn't be surprised if we lose Meyer in the summer as there's no way he'll be enjoying this.

We were somewhere around Barstow, on the edge of the desert, when the drugs began to take hold...

If our players are getting hit with tackles and the ref isn’t doing anything , they should fight fire with fire. Get booked for some heavy tackles is fine , getting a second yellow for clapping the ref, seconds after being booked is the actions of a pr*ck.

I can almost forgive a player getting sent off for retaliation when he's had poor or no protection from the ref. But to get sent off for mock applause to the ref is ridiculous and he should be fined.

Wilf is such a prima donna.

But there is also a failure of management. Roy is far too indulgent of his tantrums.

And what was our skipper doing? He should have intervened and saved Wilf from himself.

Perhaps he will learn a lesson from missing the next match.

We never saw that kind of stupidity from Yannick - or from Andros.
