I'm quite angry after that. The ref was utter s*** and should have sent off one or maybe two Saints players. Instead, Wilf gets himself red carded by acting like the pea brain that he is. I get his frustration. We all feel it, but he should know better than to clap the ref. Now we face Fulham without him and maybe Tomkins. Truly dumb. Once again we let a lead slip and inexplicably, Roy brings on Schlupp for Kouyate. Why? Not good enough all round and that ref should be demoted.

You can blame the referee all you like. I can’t comment because I didn’t see the match, but the reason we didn’t get three points from that match has to be down to Hodgson’s appalling team selection and his inability to bring on the right substitutes at the right time yet again.

Please order a taxi for Ayew and point it to Wales. Perhaps then Hodgson will play Benteke or Wickham. Kalkai we let go who is quick and knows where the goal is and apart from some pre season games where he did well never got a look in. We played well 1st half, but we just lost tempo and dropped deeper in 2nd half. And then Wilf acts like a schoolkid of 5

you people are just making excuses again. Wilf is a hot head so teams will target this its a tactic every one does it. I think people like you think a ref should get 100% right every time doesn't work like that they are human so odd few they will always get wrong it depends on their view and that Penalty one ref didn't have good angle also palace didnt even protest over it. They didnt keep kicking us you are being a drama queen. At the end of the day we was poor second half again and Roy doesn't have a clue how to change games or even do proper subs also as said before Wilf is an idiot (I expect he will get punished even more for that now so not just 1 game ban it was disgraceful his attitude)

Notwithstanding the bad refereeing I’d say the first half is up there as best performance this season. Which makes the decision at half time to park the bus all the more annoying. If we’d just stuck to the first half game plan then we’d have won that easily.

Anyone could see we needed Wickham or Benteke to be brought on second half as we just couldn’t get hold of the ball. All we kept doing was booting up to Ayew, who was winning nothing. The ball just kept coming back at us over and over again. I’m sorry but what is Roy doing. He’s left both our strikers on the bench. What’s the point of all the talk of us needing a striker by tomorrow. Roy wouldn’t play them anyway. Roy’s total inability to react to the game in front of him is wearing thin. I just don’t get him

And then Wilf acts like a schoolkid of 5 I fear Ayew probably did just what RH wanted, he harried their back four and to be fair to him he dispossessed them several times and started attacks. It actually wasn’t his worst game but perhaps if benteke or Wickham were 100% then he wouldn’t be starting. Given RH is more conservative than Douglas Hurd and more cautious than a cat stalking a pidgeon, when these players are deemed 100% by the gaffer is anyone’s guess. Perhaps in time for their testimonials?
