For me this is the one thing to really get excited for. 3 games from a final and potentially our first ever proper trophy. Hope we take a strong team there and try and really put them under pressure like with WHU 2nd half. Mid table PL can be a dull existence, the FA Cup is perfect for clubs like us. With the number of big clubs that have gone out already no reason who we can't fancy ourselves...

It would be unreasonable to expect us not to be relegated at some stage but I would not risk relegation for a cup victory.
The Premier League is football and it pays the bills. The cup is nothing more than some fluff nowadays and will remain so until prize money is introduced at a level where it becomes significant.
Of course I'd like Palace to win something big in my lifetime but I have experienced Play Off victories and a ZDS cup win in my youth and I doubt that could be eclipsed on a personal level at my age unless we won the league.
Quite honestly, winning the play Off Final is far bigger now than the FA cup these days albeit played at a lower standard and when you watch the Watford game you realise how far we have come with PL money and why that must always remain the priority.
