Much too risky a move.

Decent enough player but no where near as good as people make out.

We’ll just have to agree to disagree on that one.

These are two players who could potentially transform our team and young enough to do so for several seasons. I would only ever sell Wilf if he was replaced with this sort of quality, but it isn’t my team and we will probably get fleeced for some second rate journeyman.

Responsibility Deficit Disorder is a medical condition. Symptoms include inability to be corrected when wrong, false sense of superiority, desire to share personal info no else cares about, general hubris. It's a medical issue rather than pure arrogance.

Batshuayi has yet to prove himself here! Let's see how he does by the end of the season. If the question is 'RLC or the answer to our striker problem?', then we've got to take the latter. If Batshuayi turns out to be that answer, and we can sign him permanently, wonderful - but neither of those things is a given.

RLC is affordable, I think he is on around £50k a week. Batshuyi is on £90k and (according to the papers) wants double that, this is obviously out of our budget.

It's 106 miles to Chicago, we got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark... and we're wearing sunglasses.

Football is the only industry on the planet where somebody can underperform on their current salary and demand double (and get it).

I wonder what Krzysztof Piatek is on? Polish, went to Genova for 4m Euros, sold to Milan for 35m. We paid £9m for Sorloth lol

I'm on the fence but leaning toward Batshuayi. I think he's going to be an astute loan and help solve our goal scoring woes.

Depends on if benteke or Wickham can resurrect the smouldering wreckages of their respective careers.

We need a striker who scores goals, full stop.

If they cannot then 40 mil assuming we sell benteke to China would be good business, if batshuayi himself shows he can find the onion bag on a regular basis.

Trump lost. Badly. Hahahahahahaha.

If you mean wages he is on 34 grand a week which is less than a lot of our bit part players.
