Cardiff are NOT gone - three aways to come: Burnley, Brighton and Fulham, and us to play at home - robbed v Chelsea - we may take zero points from Spurs, City, Arsenal and Everton - we WILL need points from toon and Bournemouth - remember '93 and Oldham - do not relax just yet, it may send out the wrong energy, I haven't decided which incense to buy and which Hindu mantras to chant (or which Kama Sutra position to stick with till early May) but I'll let you know after I've meditated.

But I agree we have to fight to the last minute of the last game.

SP states it is time to look up the table rather than down.
However,in all our time in the Prem,we have always been involved in the mix to go down and this season is no exception.
We will never be a top six team with our present structure and feel that our current position in the table is our natural position and many,in any event, enjoy the annual battle for survival rather than boring, mid table security.

I do remember Oldham but I'm struggling to remember anyone other than Olham doing an Oldham.

We are not safe yet but I'd be surprised if 36 points isn't enough this season. Anyway, I think Palace can finish on 40-43 points which should make it academic.

Cardiff could avoid relegation but I can't see it happening. They have done very well to still be in with a chance with 7 games to go, most thought that they would have been relegated by now.

It's 106 miles to Chicago, we got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark... and we're wearing sunglasses.

Likewise. Also we’d been in the relegation zone for much of that season too, or just above it.

If you come to a fork in the road, take it.

I stand to win around £8,000 for a £70 outlay if we do go down. I'd rather we didn't but it would certainly soften the blow if we did. By the way I have had this sort of bet every year we have been in the Premiership
and obviously iv'e not collected yet.

So your telling me if it was last game of the season and we could still go down that you wouldn't be hoping for us to be relegated to collect your money!!!!

Why not just bet on another team to be relegated?

I promise you I still would not want to collect any winnings and I'd have to lay out a lot more than £70 to get those returns on any other team to get relegated.
