I wouldn’t want to walk anywhere north of Croydon centre at night. You can add in bits immediately West and maybe a small part East although the A232 put towards Shirley is probably safe. Yes I have lived and experienced where you’re talking and had a local pub but I wouldn’t want to now.

Come on Maple. Croydon has always had its yobs but it was never as bad as it is now. It might not be special in terms of London but that is probably because London is a cesspit of street crime.

Murder is almost a daily occurrence now whereas once it would have been a national story.
