The Muslims, by one way or another, or more probably, will dictate the world, if your opinion transpires and there’s so few births of westerners compared to several to 7 children to every Muslim couple worldwide. At least we have more fun partying while we’re here.

The future has countless unknowns. I expect a pandemic or climate crisis will be as much in the thoughts of our children and grandchildren than issues of demographics. That said, if we ever do scramble away from the EU, and adopt sensible immigration policies that will at least stem one aspect of a country changing beyond the comfort level of its residents.

Interesting opinion, what he says is 100% true, I wonder if this is what the government wanted back in the 1980's & 90's and if they would change their mind in hindsight.

Yep, yet he is just as responsible for being a part of the base that made it happen as he was a Liberal Democrat supporter.

So complaining about the results of what you supported is a serious level of hypocrisy.

Just another white flight statistic.

Shall we try and talk about what John Cleese says sensibly.

Nope. Lets just slag him off as a massive racists and keep repeating that London is "diverse" whilst ignoring the elephant in the room.

The change in the levels of cohesion in London might just be a reflection of society as a whole, but respect for other people, is definitely on the decline.

I wonder what other countries around the world had leaders who willing gave their capitals away.

It's something when Khan, in response, feels the need to publicly state that London is the English capital.

There was a point made on TV this morning by a Russian living in London who asked if it would be incorrect to say London was less English if the population was 50% Scottish. Cue irritation from the hosts who were keen to point out the inherent racism in what John Cleese said.

This photo in the article will be one or all of your high streets in generations to come. The only thing halting it is how few of the women work to bring 2 incomes in. Otherwise it would be happening faster, and will be when nearly fully covered is the norm at work.

What a miserable existence that would be. Feeling like an outsider in your own environment and having no fun for life because however many billions of people practice a life created from a book when in fact we’ve evolved from the same cells that all animals started from.

According to our ideologs you can have an English city without a majority identifying as English in it.

I wonder how long they will go with that particular lie.

Tweet is not racist, you can not argue anything when the first reaction is labeling someone for their views.

However, it is incomplete and fruitless statement. It ignores one of the main dynamics of London which made London the biggest and most attractive city on Earth. Diversity.

What i mean by Diversity is not a snowflake-kind of approach which embrace all different cultures only. London has been center of world while British Empire rules the world by being hub for import / export trade. Not only the goods but also people. It simply has been symbol of being curios of `new`, `better` and digest it and propose as a product or experience. This can be technology, finance, music, art etc.

It is simply the best of providing an environment to anyone who contributes (economical or social) by welcoming and making them feel that they belong here.

It is obvious that there are segments who rejects to be belonging here or try to divert the culture or lifestyle but i believe city has a power and know-how to get over this as there is majority who enjoys the advantages i highlight above.

It is also obvious that there will be areas or experience in such a big city which will make people think that there are something wrong. There are.

However, the way expressing this shouldn`t be setting a criteria of being English for a city which has the history i mentioned above.
