Have seen several interviews with her today.

No remorse shown whatsoever. Whilst I appreciate we all make mistakes particularly when we are young, this girl isn't sorry in the slightest and only wants to return for her own benefit.

She's also says she's fine with beheadings. Utter, utter bitch.

Needs to be made an example of.

off with her head!

If your 15 year old child runs off to join scum like IS then something has gone seriously wrong with your parenting skills. And you need loathing accordingly.

Show me that her father was an extremist

I can find no such thing on the wires

All I can find is the father of another of the girls, who may have been.

Do you also blame the parents when children commit suicide? Or self-harm?

Your country cannot make you stateless.

England has been lumbered with far worse than this misguided young woman.

Misguided?

She went abroad to breed with a murdering rapist and be directly involved in a genocide.

She kept this up for 4 years before defeat and self preservation forced her to come cap in hand back to her country of origin (which she hates).

I think she's gone slightly more down the road of willing criminality than the word misguided can justify...

I don't know about the parents' beliefs and how they could have controlled their daughter or not. However, I do know we now have an IS extremist with a media profile. One that we can pity and one that other extremists can look up to.
'This girl was born in England, raised and educated in England; rejected all that to fight against everything England stands for in favour of terrorists. She willingly joined and even reproduced with terrorist fanatics in an illegal and barbaric state - all in the name of Islam. Now she is back in England, paid for entirely by England and looked after entirely by England. Allah truly works in mysterious ways - she is a great hero in the war against the Haram.'

Nonsense.

We're not running about raping and pillaging, feeding babies to their mothers for a laugh, publicly beheading women and children or trading sex slaves. This is Daesh.

Lovely sentiment, but just like your arguements, you don't win by a false sense of moral superiority.

Given this some thought and ultimately it does come down to moral superiority. That is the point. We are better than them.

For me the easiest option is to wash our hands of this girl. To strip her of her British nationality, to declare that she made her choice and now has to live with it.

But that does not make it the right option. She was a child when she left. Effectively, she was a run-away. Playing truant from school.

None of that excuses what she supported nor what she did but she is a British citizen and as such, has a right to present herself at our borders.

This is not about being liberal or conservative. Right or Left wing. This is about accepting that a child made some s*** decisions and that she needs a chance to redeem herself. And that her own baby is an innocent party.

Loathe her. Loathe her beliefs. Loathe her parents and her upbringing. I get, and endorse all of that. But the State has a duty to all of its subjects, especially those under the age of majority.

If she decides to leave again, then wash your hands. But since she was a kid when she set off, a duty of care exists in my opinion.

I'm confused. You remind us all of the duty the state has to all its subjects (or did you mean 'citizens'?) but then you suggest that this need only apply once i.e. "two strikes and you are out". How do you suggest that would work, or get past m'learned human rights lawyer friends?

Did we? Although some claim the civilian death toll rises into the hundreds of thousands (mostly courtesy of Isis after allied withdrawal), the initial invasion and occupation thereafter yielded around 5,000 civilian deaths at the hands of the allies (mostly air strikes) Isis have an estimated 3,500 SLAVES alone.

I actually agree that Blair and his cronies should stand trail for that. What it's got to do with this f***er's immediate situation is beyond me though, care to explain why you've chucked it in?

Are you saying her behaviour is forgiveable/justified because you believe there was an illegal occupation 15 years ago?

Well yes we are instrumental in starvation and war on civilians in Yemen, so why do we assume the moral high ground?
