Glad to hear your girls are doing well, you deserve a lot of credit and I sincerely hope your futures are bright.
It wouldn't surprise me if Mapletree has worked for Social Services, it seems he has worked nearly everywhere else

Out of interest, what qualifies you to speak for "millions of others too"?

You have my full support and millions of others too..........I should have added the words ‘I suspect’. My assumption is based on what I have personally absorbed on this subject and approximately how I reckon 65 million people are divided on it. Even if only 5% support Stirling’s view (and I suspect it is the majority by the way) my comment was on safe ground. Very safe.

Good reply.

Thank you. Yes, it helps a great deal.

It is uncanny how similar her life experiences were to those of Shamima Begum. Shamima’s father is called Ahmed Ali by the way

It was originally thought Shamima went to Syria to find Sharmeena although they weren’t related. I thought Sharmeena had died though.

My apologies for the confusion

No problem. Easy mistake. All victims of paedo grooming in my opinion. Passed around to keep the boys happy.

Nah.

Its easier to keep her in this country, coz the UK public will pay for everything & I mean, EVERYTHING.

It'll be cheaper to hire someone. Just saying

You do realise she was one of the ISIS enforcers don't you? More like she forced other girls to do things.
However, I will agree that she was groomed online originally.

Clearly you feel passionately. That is no excuse for jumping to conclusions

The point was made as a response to a statement that the girl’s parents will have taught her right and wrong. However the father was living permanently in a different country.

Your arrogance is well documented on here, however in this case it is only matched by your ignorance. I have read all the thread and taken nothing out of context. She DID have a family to teach her right from wrong, they chose not to. having an uncle that attends hate rally's spouting death to west nonsense didn't help matters I'm sure.

But that's the point isn't it. Why isn't there hoards of white Christian disenfranchised kids joining IS ? could it be that the doctrine of each religion is wildly different ? Could it be that her family or certainly members of it where complicit in her running away and joining IS ?

For the record she wasn't some poor little girl handed round like a piece of meat, she was privy to torture and executions and clearly was proud of her actions.

Mark my words she'll pop on you tube in few years when she's an adult inciting more bollocks.

please tell me what "many" Muslim countries you've worked in. I'm interested because I've worked in a few, probably in a different capacity to you though.

It's good you have read the thread. So you will be aware, but perhaps have forgotten, that I did not say she had no family.

In response to ''I suspect her parents had done that over the years, didn't take much notice did she.'' I wrote ''Her mother died. Her father, with whom she was not living, had to take over her upbringing. I doubt he understood or communicated with her well''.

It is also good you have read all about this lady when she was a little girl. I could, however, find no mention of a radicalising uncle. Perhaps she was influenced by Sharmeena Begum's uncle, Shamim Miah, who is a devout Muslim. They are not related to Shamima Begum.

From your reading of the thread you will also have noted that I stated I have little sympathy for Shamima Begum -''I have no great empathy with her. However, she would appear to be our problem and one we should not shirk.''

Whilst I know she spoke unemotionally about seeing severed heads in a bin, I was not aware that ''she was privy to torture and executions and clearly was proud of her actions.'' I would be interested to read the source of this information.

By the way, Begum's husband was indeed a disenfranchised Christian kid who converted to Islam.

And finally, in order of the length of time I spent there:

Saudi Arabia
Brunei
Malaysia
Bahrain
Dubai

I also worked with - but not in - Kuwait during the crisis, having a number of people hidden in domestic ventilation systems throughout that time.
