Have no objection to the young people of today protesting about saving the planet - maybe they could set an example by chucking away their mobile phones, turning off their playstations/ipads/whatevers and getting out there and picking up some plastic waste.......

Which would obviously have the same effect as an organised protest and potentially government policy changes... what a cr*p point.

Your thinly veiled ‘no objection’ is very weak; you criticise the young at nearly every opportunity on here - no need to try and hide your disdain for them.

They are school children and know NOTHING beyond a GSCE textbook and what their teachers and parents tell them. Remember when you were 12? Knew it all right?

'Climate change: Ban gas grid for new homes in six years' [Link]

Another stupid idea that will have negligible impact on the environment.

The kids are back on strike today. They are asking the rest of us to change our lifestyle I would have more respect if they set any example such as giving up their phones, Ipads or Xbox's.

"What do we want?"

"Climate change"

"When do we want it? (during double maths or games would be nice)".
