Frightening how many people just believe something with no evidence. In this case relatively harmless but it shows how serious accusations get out of hand so quickly in the media.

That's pretty much the whole team applauding the fans, I'm sure Schlupp and Max were doing an interview at this time. Benteke may have gone for a multiple of resons, including frustration or arrogance but the bulk of the Team are applauding.

I humbly apologise. I was pissed but didn't realise how pissed! Genuinely didn't notice them and god knows how! Starting to doubt about what I thought I saw Benteke do now. No apology required. As stated, the players made it only as far as edge of the box, which due to the extra gap they have between stand and goal, made it quite some distance from our fans. The OP and others are all correct to state this was not in keeping with the players' usual standards at away games...especially those we win. And as for PVA and Benteke? Goodness knows. No apology required. As stated, the players made it only as far as edge of the box, which due to the extra gap they have between stand and goal, made it quite some distance from our fans.

The OP and others are all correct to state this was not in keeping with the players' usual standards at away games...especially those we win.

And as for PVA and Benteke? Goodness knows.

I was there Personally I didnt think the players thought they overall played well against a team, 2 leagues lower.. Our concentration levels were poor and Dann was not in good place yesterday as his touches showed.BUT across the team, some careless passing all the match.. was it a different playing surface, and what was it about hitting hard back passes to center goal, was we trying to loose the match, cant believe we would ever do that but how many corners did they from our bad passing, right across the back line!!
