They have had the lion's share of possession and chances this half and the reason for this, in my opinion, is James Maddison. Through him, their ability to play through the middle is causing us real problems. We have only been looking to attacking down the wings and this is being nullified easily by doubling up on Wilf and Townsend. Personally I think that Meyer would do a better job creating in that central position than either MacArthur or Schlupp but there are other responsibilities to consider. I don't have as much of an issue as others with Roy not starting Meyer, as I don't believe Roy trusts him in the centre of the field defensively. Hopefully we don't need him but I think, if we are in need of a goal, he'd be key to change to way we are using the space in their half.

it was a bit of a lucky goal but he attempted to strike the ball and got enough on the end of it. It wasn't a straight-up deflection. If he can score chances like that then the future bodes well. How many easier chance have the rest of the strikeforce missed over the last season or so. Gotta think Hodgson will sort them out at half time as we've been far from convincing and capable of so much more. Leicester will come at us for sure.

In the box seat at the mo but we need to really up our game in the 2nd if we wish to take all 3 points as we have got away with a poor first half there. COYP !!
