I don't care about any awards what I object to is that they think the rest of us do. Personally I would lock all celebrities in a room for a day and force them to watch something like the:

The Office awards e.g.

Best use of a photocopier
Best stapler
Best presentation on corporate culture
Best pointless story told by the boring bloke that sits next to you
etc.

See how they like that.

I wholeheartedly agree, but what I despise even more is the current culture of sub-celebrities. People that have starred in TOWIE or Gogglebox that are then being branded "Celebrities" and then put into other, equally tedious shows branded "Celebrity XYZ" where they go on thinking we know who they are and give a sh*te about how well they can ice skate or what they are like on a televised date with a mere mortal.

Then we have a whole culture now of celebrities (with various levels of acclaim) that believe their celebrity status has some kind of bearing on the validity of their opinions. "I've been in a Hollywood blockbuster, therefore my opinion on some political issue is more valid than someone who hasn't".

I actually care as much about celebrities/actors/singers as I do about everyone else on this planet that isn't a regular contributor to my day to day life.

I would dish out an award for anyone that knows how to use Reply All correctly on an email. Does everyone need to know your response? Yes? Ok, you may go ahead and click it then.

I nominate Gemma Collins for best fatty.

Though I hear she is letting the side down and losing some weight.

Kermit and Miss Piggy would be so proud their daughter had actually achieved something at last
