I was there today ... 2 soft goals, great atmosphere, our goal well taken .. Meyer needs to start !!!!!! When he came on he was istramental in our pressure .. I’m not angry today .. just disappointed

Bit unfortunate to lose by two goals, their third was obviously a huge defensive cock up a shame because we had them running all over the place until it, satisfying though to scare them for fifteen mins.

Meyer simply has to start. He gets the ball, turns and looks to attack the space. I don’t think I’ve ever seen him pass sideways, it’s all forward thinking and we need that to feed the runs of Townsend, Zaha and Batshuayi. Hodgson - I have no idea what goes through his mind. 2-1 down at home, takes off Batshuayi for an ineffective Benteke then takes off PVA for Kouyate, puts Schlupp to left back for 30 seconds and we concede from that side. The way PVA ran off, I cannot imagine he had any injury concerns so that substitution baffled me. Good performance overall. Great effort just think Hodgson needs a wake up call. The persistance with Schlupp over Meyer is becoming boring

I think our star attacker who literally every good attack seems to go through has the right to stay forward when chasing a goal at home. It's for Schlupp to defend the left side of our own penalty box if he's been moved to left back. The blame can fall on the 2 Centre Backs or Luka if Pogba scores through the middle but Young can't be standing there on that side with a finger up his bum waiting for a tap in. Meyer just baffles me. I have never got a players name on the back of my shirt but this guy makes me think he could easily be my favourite player and I'd wear his kit like a 5 year old...if he ever played more than 10 minutes. Honestly I hate to say it but Meyer is so good if it comes to him or Hodgson next season I'd rather Roy walk. I'd rather he just see sense and keep them both but there's something there obviously behind the scenes.

He’s only in the job due to sentiment. We lost to an average ManU side due to poor tactics and poor subs. We relied too much on crosses from the wide players and most of the time the ball got hit too far over the oppo danger area.
