Edited by PalazioVecchio (02 Mar 2019 12.39am) I guess there are a number of elements here. A culture that holds women in low esteem, especially if they are White and seen as morally inferior. One element that often seems overlooked is what happens to the victims in these cases. There is an increasing number of girls who have to spend the rest of their lives with the memory of the experience. They were ignored at the time and are being ignored now. This is often the case with other crimes but in these cases it’s really noticeable.

I sincerely hope that the fathers and mothers and/or other family members can take on their responsibilities in the cases where it was lacking. A hell of a lot of damage has been done.
