If this guy had been manager at Man Utd, Liverpool, Man City, and more so Chelsea, he would have been sacked long ago. 5 years and no trophies. What is it with Spurs and Arsenal keeping managers that win nothing for so long?. Yes I know they make the Champions league, but they were in that before he came.

Rubbish, he's a good manager, Spurs wage budget is about half of the Manchester Clubs

Absolutely. Spurs are overachieving in my eyes. I would bracket them with Everton

Spurs are with us when it comes to silverware expectations.

Maurizio is doing a brilliant job there, Roy is doing brill for us.

Not much silverware, not exactly in the Man City sphere of finances.

Eze Peasy at Anfield....

Yet they can spend the better part of a billion quid on a new stadium.

Palace since 19 August 1972. Palace 1 (Tony Taylor) Liverpool 1 (Emlyn Hughes)

He’s obviously a good manager but football is still inclined to indulge some managers more than others. Klopp is the same and he hasn’t won anything either.

It’s a fixed asset with almost guaranteed income to pay off the loan used to build it. It’s completely different to buying football players.

The loan may have been provided by the American owners. Sounds familiar, only we’re not doing very much on one stand compared to a completely new ground, change to the local area and 25,000 more fans with one train station.
