Went to a gig of there's in Belgrade in 2012.
Hands down the best gig I ever went to.

So many good songs.

RiP

Fire starter is one of their worst. Funny how the worst songs are the bigger ones.

heard about that gig from some Serbs when I was at Exit festival the same year. Was the most out-of-control crowd I've ever been in and they said the Belgrade one was even more mental!

He came across as really down to earth for someone so famous and frequently chemically enhanced. RIP Firestarter

I agree, I remember the first time I heard it on MTV I thought it was some band ripping off the Prodigy.

I suppose it depends where you sit on their musical spectrum. Personally I always preferred Sky Lined, Claustrophobic Sting, 3 Kilos, Narayan, Weather Experience... basically all the rave and pilled out tracks more so than the rock ones. I could literally go on all day about their back catalogue.

I won't though

Edit, wait hold on, I mis-read that as 'Breathe'. Fire Starter is bad ass. Breathe is less so.

Firestarter is bl00dy annoying.

When I first heard ‘Smack my b1tch up’ I didn’t like it but when you give it time and listen carefully to the creativity and helter skelter of musical rhythm and genre it’s really excellent. The video and short story is up there as well. Loved the Indian temple music infusion.

I prefer their rave stuff and personally don’t like their aggressive, try and be cosmetically frightening rock stuff, but many did.
