Not from RH. The change will have to come from the boardroom. Parish should start looking now.

We've literally just come off the back of 2 away wins on the bounce, winning 4-1 & 3-1. We're 13th in the league and have safety within our reach.

I don't particularly think Roy is revolutionary or gonna take us to the next level. Nor do I think Palace & our fans are really prepared to do what it takes to go up a level. But he's a gentleman, a safe pair of hands & working on a budget of sweet f*** all. I feel for Roy, because it's clear that the reason Parish likes him is because he knows he can effectively use him & he'll put up with the circus behind the scenes.

Calling for his head is just nonsense, IMO.

Anybody happy with our home form is deluded or mentally deficient.

That loss is entirely down to overly conservative management. We were always going to have most of the ball. Why start Schlupp who offers next to nothing against packed defences when we have Mayer, why only give him 15 minutes when it was obvious from about the 5th we needed more to get through the parked bus. Just not taking the game to them. All on Roy for me.

Well put. Why leave our best two passers (Meyer and Kouyate)on the bench to begin with!

Well, today provided a prime example of what a frustratingly Jekyll and Hyde team we are.

In fairness, BHA took took their two successful chances wonderfully well; and they deserved their victory on the balance of play with some valiant, ironically Palace away-from-home reminiscent, defending.

However, we played in first/second gear for the first half and only upped it to the requisite tempo after Roy's interval lecture. Why is it seemingly beyond the wit of the team to do that of their own accord a little earlier than that?

It's as well that we've got 33 on the board, and a fairly benign (on paper, at least) run-in...

Did a job?

Two shots two goals. That's not a job, it's a gift.

We were painfully slow at moving the ball today. Only McArthur from the midfield actually moved forward with any real intention or snapped at players' heels, but his passing was loose, as was Luka's (whose set-pieces were poor again). As for Brighton, it was an almost carbon copy performance of at the Amex. You could complain that they were dirty, but this is a derby and if you're going to be aggressive this is the game. It wasn't until the 88th minute that we finally clobbered one of their players. Very frustrating today watching endless backwards and sideways passing and as sh*t as Brighton are, you can't really say we deserved anything from the game. They targeted Luka with some dirty stuff and that was perhaps key to their game. Thank god I don't live there anymore!

I agree with you completely with this summary. When teams sit deep with no space behind we are hopeless. Those type of games need Benteke. Also Kayoute should have started this game or at least came on instead of Meyer. It pains me to say it but Meyer is not what we hoped for. It he was any other player we would be slaughtering him. He offers nothing.

Don't think it is about attackers where the problem lies but in midfield. We definitely missing RLC and Cabaye to a lesser extent. The same game last season we had 3 goals in 20 mins, this season we were 1 down. Weeds had exactly the same ideas. Teams can double up on the wingers and there is absolutely nothing breaking through from the midfield or combining well with the wingers., just vacant space. We are not pushing forward enough as a result early in games and unable threaten. The oppo can then relax and wait for us to make a mistake at the back, grab a goal from a set piece etc. We've been pitiful every home game for the first 20 mins this season and that is due to our overly cautious approach no matter what the opposition.

I'm talking about finding a manager that will bring a winning home mentality to the team, one who has the ability to see that when things aren't working, he has the balls to make changes, and to progress this team higher than it currently is. RH has none of these attributes. Lower level defensive mediocrity, and it can only get worse, as he is a stubborn one trick pony. I would love him to prove me wrong, but home games this season seem to prove me right.

Absolutely no creativity at all. Schlupp and macarthur are both headless chickens who shouldn't play in the same team. How Kouyote doesn't start I've no idea. Bats needs to learn to hold up the ball rather than flick it on all the time - he's got a lot to learn, hope he was watching Murrays' play today. . Sadly townsends gone off the boil, and PVA gets worse every game. Yet again it was a case of stop wilf, stop palace. So fed up of leaving SP feeling p****d off.
