The ground was electric after we equalised and for the next 10 minutes. It’s no coincidence that when we are attacking and putting in a performance then the atmosphere improves. Sadly at home there have been far too few performances to warrant such raucous support and before anyone says anything, I could hear neither the Arthur or the Holmesadale for large parts of the match on Saturday and last week the Man Utd fans were particularly loud compared to ours.

Indeed. The only team worse in the league than us at home are Huddersfield. We've won 3 and scored 11 at home in 15 games. Fulham have a better home record than us and they are 13 points from safety.

When the players put in any sort of performance (even if that means having a couple of shots on target and a corner or two) the atmosphere is loud. The fans need something to work with and this season the players haven't given us that.

Yep. We have had to endure some pretty average stuff at times this season. Even in games we've managed to get points from we've often spent considerable periods of time conceding possession through poor passing and inviting the opposition to score. And 11 goals scored at home is a pretty poor return.

I also think the "famous atmosphere" is a bit over played sometimes. Yes, when we are winning it is great and is helped by having a capacity crowd in a small stadium. But, when we are on the back foot and losing and not looking like we are ever going to score, I don't think the atmosphere at Selhurst is, and ever has been, better than elsewhere.

I was in the Arthur, close to the away fans as you can get. Don't have my ST this year, so had to buy a ticket. I was sitting with four or five guys all from America, asking me "who they should look out for".

How do people like that get tickets for one of the biggest home games of our season?

Agreed. It's all very well saying fans shoukd sing all game, but f*****g hell it's hard with the s**t football that's being dished up this season. How on earth do you expect the crowd to get up any sort of enthusiasm when we play the slow sideways backwards football we played on saturday. I almost wish we'd go back to lumping thd ball forward at every oportunity and hope for the best.or maybe even if we'd havd given them a good kicking it woukd have given the crowd something to get excited about. I don't know if it's thd manager telling them to play that way, or the players are too thick to mix it up a bit. Rant over!

We are getting very disappointing home results, but we've been far from s*** at home. We just need to go at home games with a different game plan & mentality. Meyer and Kouyate should be starting & we need to embrace the requirement to dominate games, not be pressured by it.

If you want to live in a world full of kindness, respect and love, try to show these qualities.

Exactly that, I’m never sitting in the Arthur again,

I expect against our biggest rivals sitting directly next to the scum instead of taking a load of abuse and only letting four or five fans try and give it back with songs etc get the whole block involved?? Nah it’s alryt, I guess we are now prawn sandwich brigade after being in Orem for 5/6 years.

It’s embarrasing

And where did you see pretty average.
Absolute boring predictable and shockingly crap.
Im glad ive been away to watch a few times as i would have given up.
It stops with the management.
Look at other teams
Olly changed at 30 mins in paris
Saints 2 at half time on sat and won.
Us. Ffs max waiting on line and roy poncing around to get CB on as well.
Weed score game over.
Roy said when he had quality on the bench he would use subs.
Yeh right when.
In his f***ing bath tub.

Just pre warning that this is a rant and I’m still very annoyed about Saturday.

So first of all gutted with the way we played,
I’m also extremely disappointed with our fans in the Arthur, atmosphere was flat, every time we were singing we were out sung instantly and went quiet again.

Putting up with a load of abuse being called pikeys and songs being sung about cantona, no one battered an eyelid, 4/5 fans were trying to get songs going and giving some banta back for 1 of them to be ejected, absolutely Shambolic treatment by the club, cameras on every one of us no wonder the atmosphere in the Arthur was appalling, and we had verse after verse of where’s your famous atmosphere being sung and before anyone says we were losing this was when it was 1-1.

[In my opinion need to move the away fans back towards the holmesdale, gives the family end a break aswell,[

Could never understand putting away fans next to the family end.
Lots of kids getting lots of abuse and obscenities - even if not deliberately directed at them. . Put them nearerthe HF so they can get
As good as they give

The atmosphere is being killed by the tedious style we use at home. Our set up works great away but we need to change for home games against the weaker teams who want to play counter attack against us. It’s a general problem in the Prem with too much possession in your own half.
The other atmosphere killer is the timing of games as dictated by TV - Saturday morning, Sunday afternoon and now Saturday night!

Personally I don’t fear relegation any more. I watch more Championship games on TV now as it’s how football should be played and of course it’s not dominated by a big 6.

I was in the lower homelsdale behind the goal, an international membership costs 50 pound for me , as an international member you get 2 tickets to any one match of your choice .and any fa cup match even the final if palace get there.
