I was working the door at a well known Midtown Manhattan bar over the St Paddies Day celebrations. The worse were the Yanks & their Anti British views but worse than those dropkicks were the Jocks & Norn Irish Catholics. I saw one Norn Iron resplendent in Bobby Sands GAA jersey approaching the door to come in but my remit was to let anyone enter If they were relatively sober & obviously over the age of 21 I had great pleasure (in fact I goaded the scumbag)to show me some ID & in my best Sarf London accent told him 'To f*** off & drink elsewhere' he had to be held back by his mates as they dragged him up the street.
