I appreciate that I'll never understand male banter but, if that's your preferred method of gratification, wouldn't you be better off taking out your frustration by a bit of cottaging and giving poor Mrs T a bit of peace and quiet.

You misspelt peace . Didn’t you mean giving his Mrs T a bit of piece and quiet?

Here we go again, we've lost so let's sack Hodgson etc.

He doesn't make many changes, so he's predictable. He doesn't make subs too quickly so he's dithering. If he chopped and changed the side and formation, or made subs quicker and we still lost you'd be saying that he doesn't know his best team and we don't have a clear plan.

We're Palace, in the top flight. We will lose half the time. Get over it.

In the top flight and should be aiming for top 10. Where we are is NOT acceptable. Always looking down never up...pathetic!

Yea and there are a lot of palace fans with absolutely no sense of humour, you! Are you really that dense that you think a man would give it to the woman he married up her arse without her consent , just because palace lose. Your husband might be like that but I'm not. You turned a hilarious remark into an argument. Must be a nightmare to live with.

oh yeah ,fcuk off brighton.

This Saturday could definitely have gone better.

I don't really want an argument Tipp - any consensual practise is up to the people involved - but it wasn't a hilarious remark for everyone. The original post implied that because Palace had lost someone had to pay and it was the wife. It just seemed poor taste to me.

Got to say you started both halves better and the equaliser woke us up in a way but then that was too close for comfort at the end!

Good atmosphere as usual from you guys.

See you next season.

It's great to have you on the forum and please don't be intimidated by the "banter", ignore it and enjoy the many educated football commentators.

I felt we approached the game too defensively and Batshuayi was again too isolated , particularly in the first half.
Roy seemed to forget it was a cup tie and looked like he’d be happy with a point.
It’s a knockout competition so why not go for it and attack in greater numbers?
The fact that he had three strikers on the bench, and had Zaha absent ,yet still only gave Benteke a few minutes as sub would indicate he doesn’t rate any of them.
We’ve lost all five games against Watford and Brighton this season and that’s just not good enough.
Yes, we may scrape enough points to stay up but surely we can aim for better with the squad available?
