FFS go and watch Chelsea or Arsenal then if you feel like that.

We have to win, do not care how or what the score, just want three points!

0-1 loss.

That’s the spirit! Such lovely lovely lovely positivity. Wish I had it!

*sarcasm* Oh wait, I don’t!

2-0 Palace win - Huddersfield go down, we stay up, and the doom and gloom brigade retreat to their caves throwing temper tantrums why their pipe dreams of us not winning at places like Reading and Wigan on cold Tuesday nights fail to materialise.

I will be at the game - so I hope it’ll be worth the 4 hour journey down.

I was in conversation with a supporter last night apropos the Huddersfield game and his comment was "We should win this one".I did not have the same degree of confidence.

Whilst of course he was aware about our dire home form I respectfully pointed out that we have the second worst home record in the PL (Huddersfield the worst) a fact he didn't know.

If we get on to the front foot from the start and score an early goal I believe this will be the springboard for a comfortable win and, for once, an enjoyable afternoon at 'Selhurst Park' for us long-suffering supporters. If we go behind on the back of a disappointing performance I fear the atmosphere could become rather toxic.

And here we have the fan titled doomus gloomus mongerus. Notice how their obsession with being negative becomes interminably unpleasant and intolerable.

With defeatist attitudes like that, we might lose. Sadly, that’s the mentality of the average fickle and impotent fan these days.

Anyone who is sickened by the negativity on this forum should go to Facebook and sign up to The True Crystal Palace Supporters group.

What makes one a "TRUE, Crystal Palace supporter" ?

The implication from the post is that these are supporters who are forever positive when negativity is inevitable given our dire record at home.
I have pilloried for my negativity on HOL, but I have supported the club through thick and thin since the 60s - perhaps I am not a "True" supporter !

core early and we win easily - don't score early in the game and who knows - we do struggle when teams sit back.
Hopefully a 3-0 Palace!

I reckon a "True" Palace supporter tells you how it is, good or bad...we can't all stick our heads in the sand and pretend everything is fine when it clearly isn't.

Anyway seeing Huddersfield have a worse home record than us but are playing away and we're only behind Sunderland, Yeovil Town, Morecambe, Oldham Athletic in the worst home record over the last 10 seasons table...I think'll snatch an ugly 0-0 draw.

Up the palace!

Even without Puncheon,Huddersfield will offer little and assuming Wilf is passed fit, cannot see any outcome other than a convincing home win.

Huddersfield will have targeted this match for some time. As would all of the struggling teams in the division.

We don't appear to have treated any of these games as must win.
