Personally I don't think it's so much that his unpredictability is an unwelcome distraction, as it is something that's made his career. His profile is in no small part due to his wayward behaviour. You'll struggle to find someone who's had as many opportunities despite losing most of them.

Worth a look - How the current top 15 heavyweights compare in their head to head records It's surprising how few fights there's been between them all really. Boxing politics. Anthony Joshua stacks up fairly well considering his boxing reputation is currently on the ropes.

It's the Boxrec ranking I believe, though yes there is a subjective aspect to these things no doubt. Yes, bring on the matchups. We have a considerable amount of catching up to do after enduring a dull decade.

Tyson Fury v Otto Wallin this weekend. £19.95 pay per view on BT. Hard to imagine there has ever been a worse value, less inspiring event in pay per view history!

Will still probably buy it I can't bring myself to pay for it as it looks like a foregone conclusion. I'll probably instead desperately search for a choppy stream that stops halfway through the fight, or search it out tomorrow, but accidentally see the result before I get to watch it

Money kept that fight from being stopped out there.....that cut was pretty bad, two long cuts on the same lid.....if it wasn't for the millions with Wilder I'm sure the ref would have waved it off. Tyson out classed and punched the Swede all night but proved what we have known for years....no real power. I always thought Tyson was lucky with the decision with the first McDermott fight and now he gets the 'the blind eye' of the ref to continue in this one....as it were. Still, onwards he goes

That was quite the fight. Certainly more to it than I anticipated and Wallin showed plenty of heart and a good chin. He clearly has more going for him than was anticipated. Fury's cut created a real sense of peril, and even though he outmuscled his opponent for much of the fight he looked vulnerable in the 12th. Not his best, but bring on the Wilder rematch... assuming that he beats Ortiz.
