Hello Stirling, love it out here, I've got mountains/forests/lakes no more than 10 minutes away in every direction, crime is pretty much non existant & life is a little slower. I took a day off from working on the house yesterday & spent it on a mountain snowboarding & getting a sun tan.
House will be ready at the very latest June, radiators went in today & pretty much were just waiting on the gas to be hooked up.

As for the residency thing I'll post it up on the brexit thread as its a bit more relevant there.
