Football is institutionally racist.

Why else would the lines that determine where you can and can't go, and which are fundamentally influential in the outcome of the game in terms of whether the ball has crossed it or not, are white?

The referee is clothed in the colour (traditionally) associated with the baddy - black.

A slip of the tongue could see you debating the merits or otherwise of a fat black four, while on a positive note we sing about every little thing's going to be alwight when the future's bright.

It's everywhere.

Living down here does have some advantages. At least you can see them cry.

To elevate bluetooth technology is racist against other coloured teeth, white, yellow and black alike!

The name should really be changed to ball, so that we do not discriminate against those who are unfortunate enough to have no feet. Ableists.

Good point. Spherical object? Or is shapeism a problem? Or perhaps too phallic? Just call it . or some other symbol that could represent nothing really.

football on the whole is severely linked to the f***ed up society we currently live in.

the recent football wide social media 24 hour abstaining wont touch the sides.

it needs to be that teams actually walk off the pitch during a game for a stance to actually be made...that will make worldwide headlines...players need to be microphone up for evidence POV.

any fan in the stands making such comments needs to be grassed up, and other fans need to stick up for him when he gets s*** for doing so.

i am sure i am not alone, but i would feel uneasy reporting somebody for racist abuse in the stands unless i knew the people around me (mates or not) had my back for doing so.

and thats a very sad thought to have, that you dont know if your fellow fans would have your back of you grassed somebody up for racist abuse.

I've been going to matches for years and don't remember ever hearing any racist abuse from Palace fans since maybe the early eighties.
I remember Palace fans singing racist chants in the seventies - even then we had black players so we were never that racist a club. Often people would get told to shut up. Also it was only ever opposition players that got the treatment in the 70s and early eighties. By the mid to late eighties we were not going to have racism at Palace - I believe we had a record number of black players. We are pretty much representative of our community which is hardly a priveleged white only one.
However, I would certainly recognise that some clubs have racist fans (although only a tiny problem in England).
Frankly though, this is rife in Southern, Central and Eastern Europe and FIFA/ UEFA should act there.

on the whole i agree with you, bit i do remember hearing it at palace games over the years, but only from the odd person, defo not the majority.

however, i have heard loads at england games, and thats where i have had the moral dilemma about reporting people...basically i whole heartedly disagree but im not taking a kickin’ for the cause...i shouldnt have to.
