We had two better opportunities to send Brighton down this season and we bottled them both. Instead we gave them 6 crucial points that will invariably keep them up. We should not lower our standards and throw a game to send them down.

Let’s just do a much better job next season and savour the satisfaction that we played a major part in their demise.

They defended very well in both we didn't bottle it, Spurs struggled last night and they have some excellent players ..we make mistakes because we can not attract the same class of players and our attack line is very faulty anyway. Tomkins made two horrendous mistakes in both games and only one of their goals was actually scored properly by Knockhard without the help of officials, you must get this right the only Palace player to bottle it was Tomkins!

Give some of the youngsters a chance - Inniss & Woods at CB. Get Pape & Jaro in the shop window. Wickham needs some game time.

AWB, Zaha, Townsend & Luka are due a rest.

Weakened team, lose 2-0, that would really wind them up.

Haha and when we thrash em 3-0 everyone goes, ‘why the hell didn’t you pick some of those youngsters earlier in the season’.

Gamble isn't it, outside the top six everybody is doing it.

Chris Hughton has said that the Newcastle game is NOT a must win game for Brighton. The bloke has completely lost it as it looks the only winnable game they have left. God knows what the Brighton fans must think about that comment.

The rather wonderful thing about the situation is that Brighton fans will all turn into Palace supporters when we play Cardiff next weekend.

Boring, Boring, Brighton. They have given up even trying to attack.

Be glad to see the back of them and their negative football.

It's 106 miles to Chicago, we got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark... and we're wearing sunglasses.

Maybe he believes that given the points difference between Brighton and Cardiff and their superior goal difference, a point at home to Newcastle won't be the worst result.Apart from us, Cardiff play at Fulham who have won their last 2 games without conceding a goal and also have to go to Man Utd.

Hughton is under big pressure. At the turn of the year Brighton were 13th, 10 pts clear of the drop-zone and 6 pts ahead of us.They have plummeted and haven't scored in their last 7 games. The 'Direction of travel' is hardly positive !

If he believes that Willo then I think he is playing a very dangerous game. Warnock will have Cardiff fired up for the Fulham game and I think they will win and then it could be down to how much Newcastle want it against Brighton.

"a club like Leicester city don't deserve to lose 4-1 at home to a club like crystal palace" or words to that effect, can't be bothered to check, 4-1 or 3-0 the season b4, or 5-0 away, these words are biting Hughton on the bum. A club like Palace may not deserve to get stuffed away at Cardiff??? but I hope we do
