I'd argue it's you that hadn't got a clue. Sit on the edge of your box and give De Bruyne, etc all thd time in thd world and you see what happens. Get more players forwaRd and it's easier to keep possession upfield and we crate chances...not rocket science

....or, push too many forward, make a mistake (not much maligned PVA, but the much loved AWB) and they break at pace and score. Yup, we could have done that all game.

Most certainly not European.

One thing I can't stand about City is the cynical fouls.

Mendy and De Bruyne should've been carded. Not that he's playing, but Fernandinho is the worst. Not even a f***ing footballer if you take away what he contributes through cheating.

100% correct.

Exactly. When you’re safe, playing this negatively is disgraceful in my opinion. The fans have been bored all season at home and then when you have a free hit, you set up to limit the amount you lose by. Pathetic

You reckon the fans would have been happier seeing us lose 0 -6?

Who gives a f*** though? We play the way we did, we lose. Play attacking and yeah we probably lose and maybe by more but might’ve got first goal, caused some panic etc and got more out of it. But at the very least the fans would’ve felt something. There was nothing to lose today and that’s what’s frustrating! Selhurst is so boring these days- football is meant to be entertaining and fun. If you call what we’ve served up this season fun then fair enough.

I'm sick to death of the same old tactics. Wether we play man city or Huddersfield, same old same old. Keep everyone behind the ball and hope to catch them on the break...Oh but don't get the midfielders forward just in case we get caught on the break. You can not sit on the edge of your box against City and give their midfielders all thd tI'm in the world, you have to close them down otherwise eventually they'll break you down. Every team we play against we show far too much respect. FFS show some balls Roy

My original comment was made on the basis that they pretty well had us pinned down in our own half for the first 45 minutes or more - playing further up didn't look too much of an option to me

First of all 6-2 would be a fairer comparison and therefore think happiness levels would be the same as what they are today, if not higher. It was boring. My dad fell asleep next to me which says it all.

Really sloppy play there. Was almost starting to think a draw was on the cards for a second too. Urgh.

..very offside otherwise a good goal, very fortunate the officials for them today lots of niggly fouls to stop us breaking very clever stuff, VAR better sort it out next season!

But at least it was f*****g exciting. If we'd havd payed like that all game, who knows what would havd happened....and by thd way, it was offside....

Sorry I didn’t realise there was a premiership manager on here. Plum.

Some clown said get at them and if they run past us so what. Their third goal a prime example of what would have happened if we had done that all game. As for someone else saying our players weren't trying that's a disgrace because at this level players do try but sometimes you have to accept that he other team is just to good for us.

no need to be insulting Mr Tyler just because someone might know a bit more than you do about football and tactics.

If City played well they were always going to win; they did and they did. I thought Tekkers did well today and justified his selection and Kouyate did well off the bench, but aside from that it was a bit disappointing that we were so sloppy in possession. City's third goal clearly offside, but it was so late it didn't really make a difference. The only real positive was the five minutes after Luka scored when we suddenly showed some passion and energy. Hopefully we are bit more adventurous against Arsenal.

How many times did the ball go forward and we couldn't hold onto it get a couple of extra players forward we may have done
