What on earth does this have to do with PC? Certainly a very annoying phenomenon which sadly will only increase during our time in the PL.

I find it quite astounding that with everything going on in the world that people can get so uptight over trivial matters like wearing half and half scarves at a football match

Half and Half scarves represent all that is wrong with modern football. It's total commercialisation, the win win universal sale. Football isn't just a sport, that's what separates it from the other "nobody really cares about the result" sports like rugby and football. It transcends that. This is what Rugby fans that ignorantly harp about differences in fan behaviour don't get. You cannot replicate the thrill of a 40 yard top corner banger in the 89th minute to beat your bitter rivals, supporting, nay loving your team and embracing the unbridled child like joy that has been handed down often from father to child. It's community. It's family. Even the glory hunter once they chose their team sticks with it for the passion. I could be the other side of the world and if I meet a palace fan I've got a bond, a connection. Even if it's Maple tree. You just don't get this with other sports. The half and half scarf seeks to sterilise this. The half and half scarf makes it ok to cheer two teams, to be a spectator like it's a f***ing theatre show. It's not. It's audience participation, you are the 12th Man!!! f*** the half and half scarf. Anyone who owns one should hang themselves with it to make up for the shame they have brought on their household and club they supposedly love.

Yeah, but they let the enemy mingle in the home end and they all go quiet for conversions. Not for me Clive. The two pint of lager cup and terraces at Saints is a good draw tho.

It’s harmless fun. If people want to be hardcore that’s fine, but different strokes and all that. Willis. I also quite like the fact that tourists head to SP. if you’d told us 40 years ago that people would be travelling from all over the world to see a Palace game we wouldn’t have believed it. Some of the moanin’ Minnie’s on here could do with being reminded how lucky they are to support this great club of ours.

I am quite happy to say I have a half and half scarf Barcelona v Real Madrid that I went to 11 years ago. I never wear it just have it as a souvenir from a memorable trip. No harm in that. Adults wearing them in public is a bit weird I agree.

Try doing that at a football match Don't care about Rugby, it's common knowledge that it's a sport you turn to when you're rubbish at everything else. That's why you can mingle with the enemy, nobody really cares. I do love the cricket tho, but that's more about the sesh Bit strong regarding Maple syrup, I'd still happily buy him a pint.
