For some reason I see this as a well fought match and a good watch, but I'm always wrong with my predictions so f*** knows.

Indeed my prognostication record is somewhat dire and once again I was wrong.I even posted that if Arsenal scored an early goal in the second half it would lead to an inevitable defeat for our team.

A great result !

Hodgson is going to stop c***ing around and play Luka holding with Kouyate and Meyer in front. Schlupp at left back.

Cannot see anything other than a 3-0 palace win, Bentekkers hat trick.

We should've dropped PVA and switched to a more positive approach after Bournemouth away. That was October 1st!!!!

People have been shooting me down for months because of my criticism of Hodgson, but he should've made these changes f***ing months ago. In what world does anyone start Macca, Schlupp and Luka ahead of Kouyate and Meyer in the middle Infront of Luka?

Great result and ample demonstration that we would be higher if Hodgson was better than mediocre.

If Hodgeson is only mediocre what does that make Benitez, Howe and Dyche whose teams are all below us at the moment. Even Pellegrini is only one point above us.

What, Benitez and Pellegrini who have multiple trophies spanning league titles and European crowns? Or Dyche who got Burnley into Europe?

Utter s*** managers they are, were lucky to have Roy.

Yes we are lucky to have Roy, he has managed and taken little Switzerland to their first ever World Cup Finals also Fulham to a European Final, ditto Inter Milan, guided Finland to their highest ever FIFA ranking, LMA Mnager of he year 2010 and crucially saved Palace from the drop when every single football journalist and TV pundit had us relegated after our P7 W0 D0 L7 and no goals start last year. This season 42 points from 35 games and safe from relegation.

As I stated currently his team are above those managed by Benitez, Howe and Dyche, none of whom I said were lousy Managers.

And you call RH mediocre, his record stands up there with the best.

No it doesn't.

He's won 320 career games as a manager which includes many as manager of England against nobody teams in qualifying or friendlies.

Of those 320, 98 were with Malmo. 30 years ago.

His CV is the very definition of mediocre.

Not for the man who proudly introduced 4-4-2 to Sweden.
Unless you mean for the worse as that was the pinnacle. Been a downhill slide to a 41% win rate ever since.

Without a shadow of a doubt the midfield was absolutely solid, and our makeshift back 4 did the job, good to see Joel Ward back in the team. Lets hope Roy keeps the faith with this formation.

All in all a great day, helped by Arsenal playing their worst defensive formation.

How about this midfield then Luka,Myer,Macca and Schlupp. That midfield were a part of our best win of the season against a team better than Arsenal. Ethiad Stadium and Man City ring any bells??.
